THE
PROJECT

The Grand Canyon Creation Visitor Center Project relies on the help of many in the body of Christ, using their gifts as the Lord directs. (See Romans 12.)
Currently, Dave and Debbie Klein, with their sons, Joshua and Daniel, are the “boots on the ground” on the visitor center property.
Dave and Debbie were married in 1985, and are originally from California. Dave eventually began doing contracting work in IT, and this took us to several states, with our longest tenure in Saint Louis, MO.
We are tremendously grateful to God for the blessing of being exposed to creation science ministry early in our marriage and family life. Creation ministry, for us, has really been a catalyst for recognizing the authority, sufficiency, and relevance of God’s Word in all areas of life.
We are thankful for the faithfulness and testimony of those in creation science ministry, not just for the scientific insights they have shared, but for their commitment to trusting in God’s word despite opposition and ridicule. We hope to point others to that same authority, the Word of God.
After a recon to northern Arizona in 2024, we were able to relocate to Flagstaff, Arizona, a few months later. The following year, we were able to move out to the 21 acres the Lord provided for the future Grand Canyon Creation Visitor Center, just 25 miles from the south rim of Grand Canyon National Park.
While we are not the first to have ever had the idea of a creation visitor center at Grand Canyon, we are excited to see God open the doors for it now in so many ways.
We are currently working on administration and project promotion for the center, and we are learning a lot as we go. Joshua is enjoying working on ideas for site design and the many things involved. Daniel is learning more, but we are trusting the Lord to provide help with the many other areas in which we do not have expertise: science content, design, construction, exhibits, publications, translation, and probably much more.
